Paris Saint-Germain delivered a stunning performance on Wednesday night, thrashing Real Madrid 4-0 to book a place in the FIFA Club World Cup final.

The match, played under intense heat, saw PSG dominate from the start. Midfielder Fabián Ruiz scored twice, while Ousmane Dembélé and Gonçalo Ramos also found the net in what turned out to be an easy win for the French champions.

This result sets up a final showdown between PSG and Chelsea on Sunday.

It was a painful night for Kylian Mbappe, who left PSG to join Real Madrid last summer. He watched his former club tear apart his new team without mercy. PSG, now Champions League winners, look stronger than ever, while Madrid were second best in every area of the pitch.

This was PSG’s fifth straight knockout win, all without conceding a single goal. They’ve now beaten Reims (3-0), Inter Milan (5-0), Inter Miami (4-0), Bayern Munich (2-0), and Real Madrid (4-0) — a total of 18 goals scored and none conceded.

After the match, PSG coach Luis Enrique praised his players, especially Dembele.

"We started very well. The heat made it difficult, but the team handled it perfectly. Dembele gave everything, and he deserved to start. Now we look forward to the final," he told DAZN.

The game was also the last for Real Madrid veterans Luka Modric and Lucas Vazquez, as both players' contracts have now ended. They leave with several Champions League titles and the respect of fans around the world.

PSG are just one win away from one of the most successful seasons in club history. They’ve already won Ligue 1, the Coupe de France, and the Champions League. Now, only Chelsea stand in their way.

Sunday’s final promises to be a big test, but with the form PSG are in, many see them as favourites to lift the Club World Cup for the first time.
