The official music video for the new World Cup anthem titled Goals dropped on Thursday through the FIFA Sound platform.
The high-energy track features Nigerian Afrobeats star Rema alongside South Korean music icon Lisa and Brazilian singer Anitta. The visual release aims to build immense excitement among global sports fans ahead of the summer football tournament.
The music video opens with the BLACKPINK artist delivering a fast-paced rap verse accompanied by her signature sharp dance choreography. A massive life-sized Labubu monster wearing official tournament merchandise appears cheering in the crowd during her performance segment. Lisa famously turned the popular Pop Mart collectible toys into a global pop culture phenomenon recently.
Massive lineup set for football opening ceremony
Anitta takes over the second verse of the dynamic track while dancing on a soccer pitch surrounded by dramatic blue flames. Nigerian music star Rema finishes the song with an energetic vocal delivery over a beat produced by hitmaker Cirkut. Unlike his co-stars, the Afrobeats singer elected to bypass a sultry dance routine for a more direct performance style.
The official tournament opening ceremony will take place on 12 June featuring live performances from these three artists. Global pop stars Katy Perry, Future, and Tyla will also join the stage to entertain fans during the kickoff event. Furthermore, legendary musicians Madonna, BTS, and Shakira will headline the halftime entertainment show during the final match.
