Nollywood icon Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD) has celebrated 25 years of marriage with his wife, Jumobi, sharing intimate glimpses of their journey on social media.
The 64-year-old actor posted a series of photographs on Instagram, capturing moments of laughter and quiet companionship that reflect the strength of their union. Accompanying the images, RMD acknowledged the milestone, describing a quarter-century together as “no small feat” and attributing the success of their marriage to divine guidance.
In his post, he wrote in Pidgin English:
“25 years na your mate? Even if na beans to cook am nor easy o. Oghene is involving not where else for dey? To expanded horizons.”
RMD married Jumobi, a former television presenter, in 2000, four years after the passing of his first wife, May Ellen Ezekiel. He is a father of four — two children from his first marriage and two from his current union.
A Delta-born veteran of Nollywood, RMD has had a career spanning over three decades, earning numerous awards including the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role (2005) and a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 12th Africa Movie Academy Awards (2016).
