Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior has accused Arsenal of showing lack of respect to his team during pre-match warm-up before their Carabao Cup semi-final clash.

The Blues boss was seen angrily confronting members of the Arsenal camp at the Emirates after they allegedly crossed into Chelsea’s half of the pitch during warm-up.

Rosenior said the action disrupted his team’s preparation and went against football etiquette, stressing that each team is expected to remain in its half during warm-ups.

He clarified that his anger was not directed at Arsenal players but at staff members, insisting he has respect for Arsenal and manager Mikel Arteta, but felt that respect was not shown to Chelsea at that moment.

The incident happened before Arsenal defeated Chelsea 1-0 on the night to seal a 4-2 aggregate victory and book a place in the final.

Rosenior maintained he was not playing mind games, adding that football has unwritten rules of respect that teams are expected to follow, especially during match preparations.
