Russell Brand denies allegations: Faces rape and sexual assault charges in court

English comedian and actor Russell Brand has pleaded not guilty to charges of rape and sexual assault. The media personality entered his plea at Southwark Crown Court in London on Tuesday.

Brand, 50, faces two counts of rape, one of indecent assault, and two of sexual assault. The charges relate to alleged offenses in London and Bournemouth between 1999 and 2005, involving four women.

Brand appeared in court holding a Bible. His trial has been scheduled for June, with a hearing set for next month.
