Argentinian singer, actor, and model Fede Dorcaz has been shot dead in Mexico City during what police believe was an attempted robbery. He was 29 years old.
According to Mexican authorities, Dorcaz was driving his luxury SUV along the Periférico near Electrificación Street in the Daniel Garza area when two armed men on motorcycles opened fire on him.
Police say the attackers had been following him before the incident turned deadly. Dorcaz died at the scene.
The Mexico City Citizen Security Secretariat (SSC) confirmed his death and said forensic teams and investigators were sent to the area. CCTV footage reportedly shows four suspects fleeing on motorcycles after the shooting.
So far, no arrests have been made.
Dorcaz, who was dating popular YouTuber Mariana Ávila, was preparing to make his TV debut on Las Estrellas Bailan en Hoy before the tragedy.
