Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has pledged to support the education of 1,000 Nigerian students by sponsoring their Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) registration fees through her Tonto Dikeh Foundation, according to her announcement on Instagram.

The initiative is aimed at easing the financial burden of exam registration for families and is open to students living in Port Harcourt, Lagos, and Abuja with 500 spots for Port Harcourt and 250 each for Lagos and Abuja.

In her statement, Dikeh stressed that “education is at the heart of our mission,” adding that the foundation hopes to support 5,000 Nigerian students annually either through full or partial sponsorship.

She also noted that the programme goes beyond financial help to empower young minds to grow into responsible, skilled individuals who can contribute to Nigeria’s development.

Fans flooded her comment section with praise and prayers after the announcement, hailing the gesture as timely and generous.

Tonto said she will soon share contact details for coordinators in each state to assist eligible applicants.
