Nollywood actress and social media personality, Tonto Dikeh, has shared a strategy she says can help women attract financial support and opportunities in 2026.
In a post on her social media platforms, the actress advised women to occasionally give gifts within their means to influential people in their networks, whom she referred to as “Odogwu people.”
“You see those Odogwu people you have in your contacts, this 2026, sometimes go and get a gift within your capacity and give to them. Don’t always expect them to be the ones gifting. There are thousands of people in their DMs asking for help. You can be different by gifting them instead. So anytime you might need help, they may come to your rescue,” she wrote.
Tonto said the approach has worked for her personally, describing it as a magic formula that has helped her maintain financial stability.
Her advice emphasizes the value of generosity, networking, and reciprocity, encouraging women to rethink their approach to financial growth and professional relationships.
