Reality TV star and actress Venita Akpofure has threatened legal action against an X user who accused her of moving “from one man to another.”
The former Big Brother Naija housemate reacted after the user described her as a “let-down woman” and made comments suggesting she frequently changes partners.
“Venita is such a let-down woman. Agbaya,” the user posted.
In a strong response, Venita dismissed the allegation and demanded proof, warning that she would not hesitate to take legal steps if the claims were not substantiated.
She also suggested that the accuser could face arrest if unable to back up the statements made online.
“Somebody should warn that 150-gram girl that defamation and slander will have me lock her up. If she cannot produce the man I’m hopping from and the one I’m hopping to… with supporting evidence, she should get ready with bail money,” she wrote.
Venita further escalated the situation by calling on social media users to help identify the location of the X user, insisting she wanted the matter addressed properly.
“People who can track her location, please hit me up in the DM. I need to know which location I have to address this to,” she added.
The exchange has since sparked reactions across social media, with users divided over the celebrity’s response to the online criticism.
