Nigerian music star Zlatan and his partner, Davita Lamai, have announced plans to tie the knot.
The couple shared the news while travelling aboard a private jet to the wedding ceremony of celebrity talent manager Soso Soberekon over the weekend.
Several entertainers were present when Zlatan and Lamai stood up together and extended invitations to the guests.
A video capturing the announcement has since gone viral on social media, attracting congratulatory messages from fans and industry colleagues.
Singer Teni introduced the couple before the announcement, describing Lamai as Zlatan’s wife and revealing that they were preparing for their wedding.
“So, Zlatan and his wonderful wife are going to be having their wedding,” Teni told the other passengers.
Zlatan and Lamai then stood up and embraced each other as they confirmed the development.
Couple keeps wedding date private
Addressing those aboard the aircraft, Lamai invited them to join the couple for the forthcoming celebration.
“I just want to extend an invite to everyone. I’d love to have you all there. It will be so nice to have everyone there,” she said.
However, the couple declined to disclose the wedding date while the camera was recording.
