South African music star Tyla has announced that Lagos will host one of the African stops on her forthcoming ‘A*POP’ world tour.
The Grammy-winning singer unveiled the complete tour schedule in a recent Instagram post, confirming that she will perform in Lagos on December 22, 2026.
The tour takes its name from her recently released sophomore album, ‘A*POP’, and will take the singer through major cities across Europe, North America and Africa.
Tyla will begin the tour in Paris, France, on October 12 before performing in Amsterdam, London, Manchester, Berlin, New York, Toronto, Los Angeles and several other cities.
Following her Lagos concert, the ‘Water’ hitmaker will return to her home country for performances in Cape Town and Johannesburg in January 2027.

Tyla rose to international prominence following the release of her 2023 hit single, ‘Water’. The song became a global sensation and earned her the inaugural Grammy Award for Best African Music Performance in 2024.
She sustained the momentum with her self-titled debut album, which produced popular songs including ‘Truth or Dare’, ‘Jump’ and ‘Art’.
At the 2026 Grammy Awards, the 24-year-old singer won the Best African Music Performance category again, beating other nominees including Burna Boy, Wizkid and Ayra Starr, Davido and Omah Lay, as well as Ugandan musician Eddy Kenzo and Mehran Matin.
