The family of singer 2Baba Idibia has petitioned the Inspector General of Police (IGP), accusing Natasha Osawaru of financial misappropriation, assault, bigamy, alleged threats to life, and substance abuse.

The petition, which surfaced online on Thursday, November 12, urges the Nigerian police to investigate these incidents, claiming they have caused 2Baba financial loss, emotional distress, and reputational damage.

The Idibia family alleges that Natasha transferred money from 2Face’s bank accounts without his authorization, withheld his international passport and personal documents, and engaged in physical assault in Abuja and the UK.

These actions have allegedly prevented him from honoring business engagements, leading to public embarrassment and potential financial setbacks. The family also expressed concerns about his safety and emotional well-being.

The petition further claims that Natasha presented herself as 2Baba’s new wife before he had finalized divorce proceedings with his estranged wife, Annie Macauley Idibia, suggesting a possible violation of marriage laws (bigamy) and fraudulent misrepresentation.

Additionally, the petition mentions alleged substance abuse by Natasha, which reportedly led to violent behavior, causing emotional distress and financial loss to 2Baba.

This petition emerged days after 2Face’s ex-managers, Kaka Igbokwe and Lori Tosan, accused Natasha of seeking “full control” over 2Baba’s finances and career during an Instagram livestream.

The situation escalated when 2Face joined the live session, leading to a physical altercation between him and Natasha, abruptly ending the broadcast.

Following the controversy, Hyacinth Idibia, 2Face’s younger brother, urged for intervention on Instagram. Subsequently, the Edo State House of Assembly summoned Natasha Osawaru, a member representing the Egor constituency, to appear before its committee regarding her conduct.
