Grammy-winning Nigerian star Burna Boy has made history as the African artist with the highest concert revenue, following the success of his No Sign of Weakness tour.
According to Touring Data, the tour has become the highest-grossing by an African artist in Oceania, raking in $3.1 million from about 31,000 tickets sold across four shows in Australia.
The milestone was achieved during his Sydney performance at the Qudos Bank Arena, where the singer generated over $1.1 million from a single show.
Burna Boy’s tour, which spans North America, Europe and Oceania, further cements his status as one of Africa’s biggest global music exports.
The achievement also highlights the growing global appeal of African music, as the “On The Low” crooner continues to sell out major arenas worldwide.
