French forward Christopher Nkunku is closing in on a sensational switch to AC Milan after agreeing to a five-year deal with the Italian giants.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed in a post on Wednesday, August 28, that the deal with Milan is “done and sealed,” while negotiations with Chelsea continue over a permanent transfer fee.

Sources say Milan are not considering a loan move — the Serie A club want Nkunku outright, with talks centred on the fee structure. The player himself is said to be fully committed to joining the Rossoneri, giving them an edge in negotiations.

Meanwhile, the proposed move for Conrad Harder has collapsed. Sporting Lisbon reportedly changed the terms earlier this week, effectively blocking the deal and leaving Milan’s focus firmly on landing Nkunku.

The 26-year-old, who joined Chelsea from RB Leipzig, has endured an injury-hit spell in England but remains one of Europe’s most technically gifted forwards. His potential reunion with Serie A promises to add extra firepower to Stefano Pioli’s squad.
