Garnacho set for surprise move as Mourinho targets Man United outcast

Jose Mourinho wants to sign Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United.

The Fenerbahce boss is reportedly keen to rescue the troubled winger from the sidelines, as Garnacho finds himself frozen out of the team alongside other United stars in what fans now call the “bomb squad.”

The 21-year-old, once a rising star at Old Trafford, has fallen out of favour under new manager Ruben Amorim. Along with Jadon Sancho, Tyrell Malacia, and Antony, Garnacho was left behind in Manchester while the rest of the team travelled for pre-season games in the U.S.

While Marcus Rashford has already gone on loan to Barcelona, Garnacho's future is still unclear. But not for long — Mourinho wants him in Turkey.

According to reports in Turkey, Fenerbahce are “willing to do everything” to get Garnacho. But Manchester United have placed a £50–70 million price tag on him, which could scare off some clubs.

Garnacho caused a stir after the Europa League final when he complained about being benched. Things got worse during the club’s post-season tour, where he pushed a fan and later mocked the trip on social media.

Still, Mourinho sees potential in him and hopes to offer a fresh start.

But he’s not the only one watching. Chelsea, Aston Villa, and Tottenham are also interested, and so are clubs like Atletico Madrid and Napoli.

As United try to clear out unwanted players, Garnacho could soon find himself packing his bags, the only question is where he’ll land next.
