Kcee has stirred up fresh drama online after revealing that he once refused to sign high-life superstar Flavour back when his career was just starting to take shape. In the interview, Kcee explained that Flavour was brought to him years ago by Soso Soberekon, who wanted Kcee to sign him to his label but he turned the offer down.
According to Kcee, he simply didn’t “see the potential” at the time. He added that he was already living big and driving exotic cars before Flavour even moved to Lagos, so signing artists wasn’t a priority for him then. He also hinted that the current tension between them may have more to do with envy and misunderstanding than the old rejection.
Kcee insisted there’s no bad blood on his side he just believes people underestimated him in the industry and time has now vindicated him. The revelation has since sparked reactions online, with fans debating whether Kcee missed out on one of the biggest talents Nigeria ever produced.
