Newly-promoted Ligue 1 side, Paris FC, have reached an agreement with FC Nantes for the transfer of Nigerian forward Moses Simon.
According to French outlet Foot Mercato, the deal is worth around €7 million.
Paris FC, who are returning to the French topflight for the first time in 46 years, made Simon one of their top transfer targets this summer. Their initial €5 million bid was rejected by Nantes, but the club returned with an improved offer, which has now been accepted.
Simon, 29, joined Nantes on a permanent deal in 2020 and has since played a key role in the team. He helped them avoid relegation, win the Coupe de France in 2022, and reach another final in 2023.
Last season, he scored eight goals and provided 10 assists, helping Nantes finish 13th in the league with 36 points.
In total, Simon has made 201 appearances for Nantes, scoring 37 goals and registering 42 assists.
Before agreeing terms with Paris FC, Simon had also attracted interest from Rennes, Marseille, and Premier League side Everton. However, his move to the French capital now looks close to completion.
