The feud between Nollywood actresses Rita Edochie and Nneoma Ukpabi is heating up once again.
Just hours after Nneoma posted a video warning Rita to stop mentioning her online, Rita fired back with strong accusations in a social media post.
In her response, Rita alleged that Nneoma begged her to help cover up a case of financial misconduct while she served as the Imo State Chairperson of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN). Rita claimed she refused and instead reported the issue to the appropriate authorities.
“You kept calling and pleading with me to help cover you up… because you embezzled their millions,” Rita wrote. “As the rogue you are, you paid your way through.”
Rita also revisited a previous disagreement over Nneoma’s outfit at fellow actress Ruby Orjiakor’s wedding — the original post that triggered the drama. She criticized the dress, calling it “irresponsible and indecent.”
“You are a bad influence,” she added.
Rita ended her post by stating that she wouldn’t continue trading words with Nneoma. “There’s a long pace between my level and yours, and you know it,” she wrote.
The back-and-forth between both actresses has stirred reactions online, with fans waiting to see if Nneoma will respond again.
