Viktor Gyökeres has lifted the lid on why he chose Arsenal over everyone else and it all started with a chat with Mikel Arteta.
“I just felt that Arsenal was the right club for me,” the Swedish striker said after sealing his big move to the Emirates.
According to Gyökeres, his conversations with Arteta and the club’s technical chiefs made the decision simple.
“What I heard from Mikel and Andrea when I spoke with them, and what I’ve seen over the years, the way Arsenal plays football that made me choose Arsenal,” he explained.
Now, with Arsenal chasing Premier League glory, the 26-year-old is expected to bring goals, power, and the ruthless edge Arteta has been craving.
