Privacy is peace, says Tokunbo
Abiodun Folashade Tokunbo, wife of Nollywood actor Olanrewaju Omiyinka, popularly known as Baba Ijesha, has opened up on why she kept their marriage away from public attention.
In a post shared on Instagram, Tokunbo said privacy has remained important to her personal well-being, describing it as a source of peace despite life’s challenges.
Sharing photos documenting her journey with the actor over the years, she wrote:
“Before and After. Aanu Ni!
“Oju ri! But Anu speaks.
“This right time to fly together. Privacy is peace to me.”
Revelation follows birth of baby boy
Tokunbo’s comments came days after Baba Ijesha announced the birth of their baby boy.
The actor took to social media on Monday to introduce the newborn, whom he named “King Kagar Omiyinka.”
He also paid tribute to Tokunbo, describing her as “my ever beautiful wife, strong Jagaban.”
First child together after 12 years
Reacting to the announcement, Tokunbo revealed that the baby is their first child together after 12 years.
She made the disclosure while referencing her daughter, although it remains unclear how long the couple have been together.
The revelation has sparked interest among fans, as the pair had largely kept their relationship and marriage out of the public spotlight.
Who is Abiodun Folashade Tokunbo?
Tokunbo is a fashion entrepreneur and the founder of House of Luminee, a Lagos-based fashion brand.
She hails from Ijesha Isu in Ekiti State and is the sixth daughter in a family of eight children.
She attended Hosanna Africa Primary School and Methodist Girls High School before obtaining a National Diploma in Banking and Finance from The Polytechnic, Ibadan.
She later earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Lagos State University (LASU).
Fashion business launched in 2013
Tokunbo established House of Luminee in 2013 shortly after completing her final examinations at LASU.
Over the years, she has built the fashion brand while maintaining a largely private personal life away from public scrutiny.
