Popular Nigerian skit maker Sydney Talker has revealed why he chose to remain celibate for nearly four years.
The 30-year-old content creator said July 27, 2026, would mark four years since he last had an intimate relationship with a woman.
Sydney made the revelation in a video shared on his Instagram page, admitting that the journey had not been easy.
“I have not slept on the same bed with a woman for the last four years,” he said.
He attributed his ability to maintain the decision to God’s grace, stressing that he could not have achieved it through his strength alone.
Sydney Talker shifts focus to content creation
The comedian explained that he stayed away from romantic and emotional distractions to study the content-creation industry more deeply.
According to him, his research helped him identify strategies that could enable content creators to build sustainable wealth.
Sydney warned that creators might struggle financially unless important structures were introduced into the industry.
He also announced a live event titled Creators Keynote, where he will share his findings and proposed solutions with other content creators.
The event is scheduled for July 27 and will be streamed live at 1:00 p.m. on his Twitch and YouTube channels.
Sydney described the programme as an opportunity for creators to collaborate and develop a new direction for Nigeria’s content-creation industry.
