A woman identified as Shoyemi Titilayo has been remanded at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre after being arraigned before a Lagos Magistrate Court for allegedly threatening the life of late singer Mohbad’s widow, Wunmi Aloba, and her young son, Liam.
Titilayo appeared before Magistrate A.I. Alaka on a five-count charge stemming from a series of TikTok broadcasts.
Court remands suspect over public disturbance and inciting violence
Titilayo and others currently at large engaged in activities along the Lagos-Sango Road between August 2025 and March 2026 that disrupted public peace. The prosecution alleged that Titilayo used TikTok live sessions to falsely accuse Wunmi of killing her late husband and actively incited the public to subject Wunmi and her minor son to jungle justice.
This legal action follows similar cyberstalking and defamation charges from July 2025, when a Federal High Court remanded two other TikTok creators, Saheed Jamiu (“Osama”) and Uyime Godwin Udoekwere, for making similar public allegations against Wunmi regarding the singer’s death.
